ROBERT (BOB) SCHROEDER
Bob Schroeder was born and raised in Cowlitz County, (Longview-Kelso area) Washington. After graduation from Kelso High School, he attended Lower Columbia College for one year before being drafted into the U.S. Anny. He served two years in the military as a proud member of the 173rd Airborne Unit. Upon his return from Viet Nam, he married Maureen O'Boyle. Together, they raised two children, Tim and Tracy. While employed as a policeman for the City of Longview, Washington, Bob returned to school and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Portland. After 27 years with the Longview Police Department, Bob retired and immediately went to work for the Clark County District Attorney's Office as a Process Server. He was promoted to Investigator and served the last five years as the Investigator for the Vehicular Crimes Unit.
In retirement, Bob has served as a volunteer for STOP DUI at the Victim Impact Panels. He volunteers as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Thomas More Catholic Community. He enjoys a game of golf and loves to travel. He delights in being a "Grandpa" to Ashley.
